Paying It Forward

Thank you for supporting our family during such a difficult time. After Mateo was born, we were overwhelmed—emotionally and financially. Your help, and the connection we’ve felt through Noah’s Smile, has given us strength when we’ve had none left. It means so much to not feel alone in this journey. There is so little financial assistance for families like ours facing long-term hospital stays far from home. Your support has eased some of that burden, allowing us to focus on what truly matters—our child’s recovery. We are deeply grateful. We’ll never forget what your organization has done for us.

My name is Theresa. I heard about your son. My sympathy and condolences. I could not even imagine what you’re going through. Hope time heals but your heart will never forget. You’re left with love and memories of a sweet angel. My sister told me about your foundation and that she has reached out to you. Thank you for your support and gift cards. It’s been a struggle to keep it together at times. Your little Angel will forever be remembered. Coming from a country that has no help for kids like my baby makes my heart hurt for all the kids who can’t get the help at all. I am very thankful for all the support and love for our family ☺️

When our son was born, we knew his heart condition would require immediate care. We anticipated a long NICU stay and hoped to rely on the Ronald McDonald House, but in the meantime, we booked a hotel near the hospital. So much of our life was left to chance and faith—including how we’d manage our bills. Staying just 10 minutes from the hospital allowed us to be close to our son during those critical days. When Noah’s Smile called the hotel and helped with our bill, we were overwhelmed with gratitude. It reminded us of the Mr. Rogers quote: “Look for the helpers—you will always find people who are helping.” In our case, the helpers found us. Thanks to Noah’s Smile, we felt relief, joy, and a renewed sense of hope.

Thank you!!! We feel so blessed that you are able to help us during this time. Having a child go through medical issues is hard enough without adding the burden of having to think about finding a place to sleep at night. If it weren’t for Noah’s Smile, we would have had to continue sleeping in our baby girl’s hospital room and get little to no rest night after night. Knowing we have a place to go rest right near the hospital is a game changer. Thank you again for all your kindness and support.

As we prepare for our two-year-old daughter, Doris, to undergo open-heart surgery to replace the valves in her heart, the kindness and generosity of Noah’s Smile have truly lifted a tremendous burden from our shoulders.

Our heart warrior has been in the hospital since she was born in September, an hour away from home. The gas card received provides an enormous help during this difficult time, making it easier for us to spend everyday by her side.

Noah’s smile is an amazing organization that truly cares to help parents with critically ill children. They got back to us within 24 hours offering to help us in many different ways and did help immediately. We’re very grateful for there assistance. They are an organization that goes above and beyond for families while in a time of need.
